He started with This is serious' when I asked about removing scar tissue. He explained I was radio lucent' vs saying this shows' on your xray. He was somewhat rushed but again he was thorough as was the nurse practitioner. For a very good rating I would want a simpler more direct communication style. When I receive concerning information that could be (or actually IS) serious, a more calming style vs a scientific style would be preferred. In the end we connected. Guess overall the information was not what I wanted to hear so not easy for the patient.

The doctor listened to my concerns carefully and answered all my questions thoroughly. I was very impressed with the knowledge and information I was given. He was a good listener and gave me confidence in the UCSF system.
