This was my Initial visit with Dr. Selvig so it was just a "consultation." He has scheduled me for a procedure in two months' time and assuming all goes well I suspect my ratings for him will go up; I simply have very little experience with him to date.

He listened to all of my concerns and had thoughtful responses to my questions. Additionally I was impressed that he has left himself a note to ask about something from my medical history.

Dr. Selvig is exceptionally kind and caring. I never feel rushed during the appointments he always gives me excellent up to date advice and involves me in the decision-making. He shows great empathy and concern. Since I began seeing him he has tried new medications as well as weaning off meds that I didn't need. He is an expert my health has improved dramatically and he always invites me to contact me if needed before our next scheduled visit. 5 stars!

I am expecting expert advice. Very disappointing to be told eat 2 kiwi fruit daily and take over the counter peppermint oil. The same advice he gave me on my original appt. Obviously both have been tried and failed but he didnt wait for me to remind him. I was told the appt was to discuss stoma procedures but it clearly had nothing to do with it.

Verbal next steps and written steps were clear but provider's fellow mis-entered follow up lab tests. He marked some labs as "done today" instead of "todo" and I needed to clarify when I went in for labs.

I was supposed to receive a form for a blood test which I never received. I have checked mychart and I cannot find it. I feel that the doctors rely too much on technology- and now I have no way of knowing how to reach the doctor to get the form.
