Dr. Dan Selvig is a gastroenterologist who cares for patients with digestive health issues, providing treatment in both inpatient and outpatient settings. He also performs diagnostic procedures, including upper endoscopy (to view the lining of the upper digestive tract) and colonoscopy (to view inside the colon, the last section of the large intestine).     Sadly, I was told Dr. Selvig is leaving. He was excellent with his knowledge, his manner and his understanding as well as his ability to listen. I hope the next doctor will be as good.

    Once again, I arrived feeling to my appointment unusually stressed and anxious. Dr. Selvig was incredibly supportive, patient, detailed, but easy to understand. I appreciate his ability and willingness to follow my thoughts and concerns as they bounced around my brain and out of my mouth! I had so many issues that I needed to discuss and understand and Dr. Selvig was very thorough in his responses, and also incredibly kind and calming. I shared my positive experience with a couple of friends after the appointment concluded, and recommended Dr. Selvig.
