Dr. Cupit is always very kind highly knowledgeable and enthusiastic about her practice. Always ready to listen and to provide either feedback or advice. By far the best care provider I interacted in years at UCSF.

I loved Dr. Cupit. She was fabulous.

My only problem was hearing correctly due to her mask I ask her to repeat when I didn't hear well and she did until I understood.

Visit was for Wellness exam follow up. Was hoping to get answers via My Chart messages vs having to schedule an actual appoint & be charged for a regular visit. Not happy about that.

I feel so fortunate to have found Dr. Cupit. She's wonderful and sees me as a whole person physically & emotionally. Thank you so much!!

I thought Dr Cupit was very thorough in her questions to understand my basic health. This was an initial visit and she spent time on my background understanding my exercise routines and discussing an ongoing knee soreness. Very good and complete visit

She excels at trigger point injections

Dr. Cupit is an amazing doctor and the perfect primary care physician for me. I have complex chronic conditions and her care is thorough and compassionate. I believe for the first time since my accident in 2015 that I will make the fullest recovery I possibly can.

I really liked her and I am so happy that I have changed my primary care to her. I had been with my last doctor for 22 years so changing to a different doctor was difficult and I had tried a few other doctors before I went to see her. She has more than met my expectations and I feel like she'll be an even better more qualified doctor than the one I had for 20+ years!

Dr. Cupit is amazing! I have been so impressed with her and truly feel confident in the care she will provide. She was extremely knowledgeable about all everything we discussed and about the ins and outs of managing my care at UCSF. She is a great listener and took my health concerns seriously. I was especially grateful for how easy she made it for me to make appointments with the clinics she referred me to by making it so I could make the appointments through MyChart (maybe there are some technical/logistical things behind this but the referrals I got from Dr. Cupit where the first to come through that way so I'm attributing it to her haha). I also was super impressed with her promptness in reaching out about test results. My past experience at UCSF and also at previous hospitals has been that test results come in weeks before I hear from a clinician about the results and often I need to reach out for someone to explain them to me. Dr. Cupit is the very first provider to reach out to me about test results BEFORE I had chance to look at them myself. That alone has made a huge difference in my confidence in her as a health provider. I know I'm in good hands.

She's great and listened very well. She even found a concerning dermatology concern on my arm that needs quick attention and offered her services if the Dermatologist schedule was too tight. This is exceptional care!

Very friendly and informative prompt response to questions asked via mychart.

She was not informed about the current shortages of the medication we were being prescribed and provided us with false hope that we would be able to obtain the medication. We were not able to obtain the medication after attempting to obtain the following 5 hrs after the call (driving and calling different Walgreens pharmacies down the peninsula).

This was my first visit for my annual check up. My previous doctor was no longer with UCSF. A friend recommended Dr.Cupit. I was pleased with my treatment and would recommend her.

The procedure was explained very well along with risks and benefits.

My provider was very fixed on getting STD check done even though I explained why it's not necessary (no sexual activity for a couple of years). I agreed to do it but I felt pressured. I know she explained It's just to rule out but she seemed so fixated on this. Since I KNOW there is 99% chance I don't have STD (BTW result came back negative) I wanted to know more what this means with the issue I have when STD is negative. She didn't explain much on this but just wanted to get STD check done. Another issue I had with this provider is that my pap smear test result came back saying test couldn't be performed due to an unsuitable specimen. She didn't reach out to me for a few days until I reached out what this means. She said this is due to Lab running the sample late. Is this really the lab's fault or is there a possibility that it's her error? And was she planning to wait til I ask what this all mean? I'm going to change my primary care physician.

One of the best doctors I had at UCSF!

Despite admin/process difficulties the quality of the doctors is the only reason I remain at UCSF. The doctor was knowledgeable answered all my questions/concerns plus more. And I loved how comfortable she is answering awkward questions (I've had doctors answer them in patronizing fashions) - I got the info I needed without feeling talked down to. She was very good at her job.

Succinctclear organized respectful. We covered how I can resume w get use without being exhausted during COVID recovery and frequency of antigen testing. As well as ongoing health maintenance.

I had to have an abscess drained she spent a lot of time w me doing that and I really appreciated it. I'm sure it delayed other appts she had that morning.

The only problem I have with this clinic is the turnover of doctors. My new doctor is excellent but is the 5th I have been assigned to in 6 years.

She really listened and had a collaborative approach to my needs.

The provider clearly cares about patient and is skillful in their trade. However they would benefit from training jn how to show that concern for the patient clearly walk them through what to expect from the treatment and how to care afterwards. Instead what Dr said was that "I would hate her later" for the treatment because it would cause pain. While this comment was probably meant to create a connection and put me at ease it did not. It made me think that the Dr was worried that I would blame them for being in pain. Of course I wouldn't. It would just be so much more helpful and build more trust if Dr could clearly articulate expectations about the treatment including what kind of pain might be involved and for how long. The care is there but Dr could use coaching on how to better express it.

Dr was kind and professional. While she recommended physical therapy not sure of next steps as it sounds like I can go to any PT but I'm concerned whether an authorization is needed in order for insurance to pay for services. Will email Dr for clarification.
