Dr Lee may be one of the best doctors I've ever seen in my life. I've been avoiding going to the OBGYN for a few years because of a bad experience and this doctor was so kind, courteous, really listened, made suggestions, adjusted based on things I said, and really made time for me in a way that made me feel seen. I immediately met up with a friend and told him all about her and how I thought every woman should change their doctors immediately to see Dr. Lee in the future! That's how good it was.

My appointment felt extremely rushed. I think the doctor was with my for less than 5 mins and when I started asking questions she was standing up and walking out the door. The explanations felt very rushed and no time was taken to ask me about my concerns, etc.

Dr. Lee is amazing. I love her. She was so lovely and knowledgeable. She listened and affirmed my concerns, was careful in her examination of me, and incredibly knowledgeable about her field. I immediately felt that I was in good hands with her.

This was my first poor experience with an OB at UCSF. Dr. Lee had an overall kind and professional bedside manner, but she was clearly rushed and did not provide adequate time for my appointment. She probably spent less than 3 minutes in the actual room with me-- I don't know if she even sat down. I would say this is unreasonable for any patient, but especially given this is my first full term pregnancy and this was my first 36 week appointment. I was especially disappointed with the bedside ultrasound. She confirmed the head was down but it was so quick I didn't even get to see the monitor. She also did not discuss the possibility of early labor or a post-due date induction with me. I also didn't get my After Care Summary for 10 days after my appointment, when I'd been able to see for days that I was Group B Step positive in my test results. Again, not ideal for a first time mom to have to wait that long to hear from her OB about something that impacts her labor plan and the health of her baby. For these reasons, I changed my 38-week appointment that was scheduled with Dr. Lee to another provider.

Dr Lee listens well and takes her time to explain everything for patients like me to understand what's going on.

Just bears repeating! "Every time I visit Mount Zion Prenatal Care, Jamie and the team, even the receptionists are always, kind, friendly, SUPER helpful and I have this feeling of ease and comfort. I love the team there and the medical assistant staff is unmatched. I get better service and help there than in any other UCSF facility. This is a gem in the medical system. Please give them raises and a all the help and equipment they need. SUCH an incredible team!!!!"

As a breast cancer survivor I shouldn't have to ask for a breast exam. I also have had post menopausal problems with tissue atrophy and take a prescription for this. No pelvic exam to assess the health of the tissue. I felt like this appointment was a complete waste of time.

I made my appointment 3 months prior for what I thou was a procedure but when I arrived it ended up just being a consultation for the procedure and I still had to make an appointment for the procedure but the doctor was so booked that I could not schedule with her. Felt like a waste of time

Dr. Jamie Lee, provides clear information. Of course, she is exceptionally knowledgeable but also discusses health issues comprehensibly In relevant context. Her comments and Information are helpful and interesting, She is also a great listener. She is very likable and seems like a wonderful person and physician! I am grateful to have her as a physician.

I felt welcome'd and seen by everyone I encountered

To some extent, the resident over-explained and over-described each step of the process, making it a lengthy visit. As a nurse, and a woman who has had 20 years of exams, I don't feel I need much explanation except for changes in recommendations. Also, obtaining one blanket verbal consent for the exam should suffice and not require an ok for each swab. I do appreciate her thoroughness, and I'm sure she'll gain confidence and balance the conversation in the future.

Jamie was great. We were in a special room that allowed her to literally show me what she was doing around my cervix and walked me through everything. It was fascinating and much appreciated!

Best care and attention I have received in many many visits

Dr. Lee and her staff deserve Excellent they were beyond very good.

Provider was good, but I probably could have skipped this appointment and gone straight to the referrals and my PCP added an unnecessary step.
