Super bummed my imaging/case was not reviewed before I arrived. Dr. Horton is great but dismissing my recent high IOP reading as an error in light of my symptoms this year was frustrating.

The doctor was fantastic. All the doctors my kids have ever seen at UCSF are amazing. Experts in their fields head and models of professionalism. -My satisfaction after my daughter saw her doctor and my confidence in his expertise balanced out my frustration and anxiety over the overwhelming and unnecessarily complex process of getting there. Our medical system is so broken it's sad. I have excellent insurance I pay an arm and a leg for, and this is still how it always goes. It's a shame.

I'll bet Dr. Horton is an amazing surgeon which is what you want when you need to eye surgery. In terms of bedside manner personality ability to convey to the patient that he cares for them and about them he severely lacks in this area. He has difficulty with perspective taking and considering other possibilities than just the eyes that might be causing trouble with the eyes.

    Thorough friendly obviously an expert
