Cannot say enough good things about Dr. Vincent and her staff. So lovely kind and efficient

Dr Vincent was knowledgeable and compassionate

It is now 24 hours since my appt and I still have not received my after visit summary which was supposed to include instructions about how to take my medication as well as instructions to get a test done. I sent the doctor a message this morning as well and still no response.

Dr Vincent listened to my problems and offered advice. She was very caring and attentive.

Doctor and both nurses did an amazing job

I have a very detailed description of all my symptoms and a recent experience with a panic attack I had never had in the past. The doctor never once made eye contact. She only stared at the computer. She showed zero sympathy for how terrified I was. It was like pulling teeth to get any information out of her. I asked question after question about how to rectify the situation. Those questions were met with one or two word answers that were not helpful. Shared with her what I had already been doing and got zero feedback if I was on the right track. I actually felt judgement coming from the doctor. It was hands down the worst experience I've ever had with a medical professional.

Dr Vincent is very thorough and listens to my inquiries or concerns and addresses each.

It was our first meeting and was to "establish care" She had read my medical history and was prepared and pleasant and made me glad I have become her primary care patient.

Dr Vincent is very caring and understanding. She listened very attentively to every thing I was concerned about and clarified those things I wasn't sure of. She was Interested In what I said and we were able to converse In an understanding way. I appreciate her concern. I am happy to be under her care.

She listened to me didn't rush and gave me a referral for a request I had but I was surprised that she didn't listen to my heart or lungs. She didn't look in my nose or mouth. Actually I wasn't touched by this doctor.

Listens and discusses

The provider (or their office which to me is the same thing) accepted this appointment knowing they would not be able to help me and that I would need to be seen in person by a specialist. I know this because that was the first sentence the provider spoke to me during the visit! As a result I lost a full day of not receiving care for the issue I was experiencing. On top of that I'm probably going to be billed an exorbitant amount of money and will need to start a several month process of going back and forth between the provider and my insurance just like last time

First time appointment with this provider. Follow-up scheduled!

Great physician caring highly knowledgeable. Accurately anticipated probable cause of my severe illness and ordered (arranged for) necessary tests immediately. Very scientific approach in diagnosis.

Unfortunately my provider seemed very rushed and a bit impatient with my description of my current symptoms (total face to face care time was less than 10 minutes after a 45 minute wait on my end). I was talked over or interrupted a few times. Two of the three medications they prescribed me were ones I was already taking so I don't feel confident that the medical advice given Is useful. I was the one to ask about follow up options.

I win the lottery with getting Dr.Vincent as my PCP.

Didn't initiate to ask me to obtain previous medical records from prior PCP. Didn't ask me questions about my health. Mostly I asked questions.

Dr Vincent was professional and informative of my recent illness.

Other than immediately solving my health matter (out of our control :) ) the team addressed everything possible.

My provider listened to me and a suggestion I had for further care but her explanation lead me down a different path one that was completely understood and made more sense.

She seemed very rush to do my annual physical exam and did not seem to really check me out except for breathing exercise and hardly really looked in my ears. We did talk about my health issues but she talked pretty fast. Also the doctor did not tell me I needed to come back for a follow up in a month. The assistant told me.

It is possible that Dr. Jyotsna Vincent Singh was rushed with too many patients. She was not unfriendly but she was not very friendly either.

Dr. Jyotsna Vincent was excellent and could not ask for more. She made me comfortable as if I have known her for a long time. Ask question on my health medication history and concerns. In addition ask about family history looking for correlation ship. Recommended for lab tests and I have not done so for a while and provided me with medication. I can not find words to thank her enough for her professionalism empathy sincerity and caring. As I have come across different doctors at UCSF I can say I am blessed to be in good hands under their care as all doctors have been caring for me in every possible way for what I have gone through. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

The PCP didn't know why I was there and didn't ask. This led to them misunderstanding my questions. I pointed that out but the provider didn't listen or ask for clarification.

5 minute appointment.

This was a visit with my PCP whom I have seen three or four times including recently. She should have familiarity with my medical issues which include a complicated lung condition (over four years) and various gi concerns. It surprised me that she didn't bring any of these experiences into the conversation -- which was about fatigue and whether an anti-depressant could be useful in any way. She was knowledgeable about anti-depressants but it did not feel like a caring visit. I have had other much more positive experiences at UCSF.

I appreciate the time Dr. Vincent dedicated to my appointment including discussing an issue that was not the main reason for my visit. Dr. Vincent is attentive professional and does not make you feel rushed which is so appreciated. Given the various constraints she is likely faced with in serving all of her clients.

There are very good service

Dr Vincent was very caring and I liked her right away. She was cheerful and listened to everything I and my daughter asked. I felt safe in her care and confident that I would receive the kind of care I have been searching for.

Dr. Vincent listened to my concerns & acted Immediately on an action plan.

Dr Vincent truly listened to my concerns and fears. With gentle cajoling she was able to help me relax and accept additional test referrals

She did the best she could. She listened to all my concerns but felt rushed the whole time and just kept saying "Unless you have something else" like she was on a time clock. I made it through my most important list but the conversation did not seem dynamic.

I wish that safe and effective weight loss meds were brought up by the provider at our last visit a year ago instead of when I discovered them and asked.

At least she went medical school and can write a prescriptionnothing to write home about .

Since I thought this was a post-op visit I was a bit surprised that she never looked at my abdomen.

Regarding instructions & followup care: My care provider referred me for additional specialized services but was unclear on how I should go about obtaining/contacting those services and whether they would be covered by my insurance. In my experience with other practices there has been other support staff in the office (not necessarily the MD) who was more knowledgeable or at least helped with the referral process. I don't want to give my primary care provider a low rating when this is not necessarily her responsibility but I feel like I'm on my own to figure out how to obtain and schedule followup care referral. Also I haven't been able to access an "After Visit Summary" in hopes the information would be there.

I'm not sure the Doctor is pursuing a diagnosis of my illness. Possibly she is only considering the symptoms and not the underlying cause. There wasn't any discussion of a proposed treatment or follow up care. She did request a referral and e-consult however.I asked about some of my test results and I thought the doctor's reply was a little vague.

Provider is always running late rushes through the appt does not listen to request properly and provides bad medical advice.

Dr Vincent addressed all of my concerns in a very friendly and informative manner.

This was a first appointment with the provider. I needed a lot of time due to a complex medical history and current mental health crisis in my family. Dr. Vincent did not have enough time for all I presented because of her schedule In addition to what I needed but she was so effective at combining listening and progression through the appointment. She was professional and highly caring. She made appropriate referrals to specialists answering my questions patiently and really being present for me at a time of great need. She respected my competence and ability to partner in my own care. She also offered another appointment for follow-up which I so appreciated. I am so glad to say that I feel that she will be a very good fit for me.

She's great. Pt centered care and collaborative approach makes up for the long wait time to schedule an initial appt. Very responsive and great trauma informed care! Thank you.

Dr was very concerned and provided needed information.

I was surprised to see that Dr Vincent consulted with ID about my Lyme treatment. IN a response that took the consult under six minutes it was deemed my current treatment not valid per UCSF. I wonder what alternative treatments DSA has to offer for persistent Lyme??? And why my doctor could not pursue her own research on my current treatment? I'm sure in six minutes I could not find studies to back up their proposed treatments. I felt dismissed. I did not ask Dr Vincent to treat my Lyme disease precisely for this reason. 300000 persistent post treatment Lyme patients( or more) are waiting for decent research on this persistor bacteria.All ID does is deny its existence.

Dr Jyotsna Vincent treated me like I was crazy for asking her simple questions about what more could be done to get to the root of the problem that I was severely suffering from and she also treated me with the attitude that I was wasting her time for even seeing her that day. Extremely rude and unprofessional to treat your patient this way when other medical professionals agree that my concerns should be taken seriously. I am planning to switch doctors because this was not the first time she has provided a poor experience but this time it has directly left me in pain and without a doctor that takes me seriously. I strongly believe that I would have received better care if I were a different gender race and age.

I spent 7 months trying to find a doctor. I genuinely cried after my first visit with Dr. Vincent because I was so grateful to be in her care.

What we discussed was not usual. Dr Vincent Suggested a thoughtful experienced informed and professional approach to my problem which can completely make sense sense and to which I am grateful.

Very poor communication between the care team and myself this visit. I was told I needed to make an appt for vaccines. Then the nurse came in to administer them. No one told me that I would have to return for a second dose. I had to look it up myself and then email the office to confirm. A referral to a specialist was made without telling me. Now I have to get a hard copy of the order so I can choose a closer specialty office. Had I known about the referral I would have asked for the hard copy before I left the PCP office.

Good collaboration between my primary doctor and the medical student I saw initially

Only provider of the 6 or 7 I have now that even discussed my weight and set a reasonable goal. Was not condicendingg

She is the very first dr I've had that has NOT profiled me.. She has been my new dr for only 3 months almost 4 and she has me with the specialist to take care of my issues Causing me havoc. I have gotten further with my health here then I have in 20 years with my previous dr. I'm thankful for the refferals. Thankful I am being taken seriously when it comes to my health condtions. I have a lot of health issues I need handled and she's doing her best with information she has. Thank you.

Thorough review of medications. Thorough explanations of her thinking on how to proceed with various issues.

Just hasn't been an overall good experience and I have gone to another entity for service

After waiting for the doctor for 1.5 hrs she only spent 5 mins with me. Then my xray was ordered incorrectly. I complained about my ribs but the xray order was for neck spine and hip. I wasted time and gas again going to clinic because they didn't have the right orders in the system.

At first I was scared and wasn't sure if my health issues would get resolved and treated so I can remove pain meds. She showed me she really does want to get me the correct treatments so I remove medications. She has reffered me where I need to go to be able get to the right place for treatments or surgery. I know I'll be able to meet my goals with her getting me the help and treatments to be free from these medications. I know it takes time. Sometimes I wish I could have treaments and surgery right now but unfortantly it done work that way. She is doing her best to get me that what's needed.

She still don't have my medical files so it's making it difficult for her to do her job. She can only do so much with the info she has. I am doing everything in my power to get the files to her and I sent mri report and mri images. I'll have the rest here soon in the mail. I hope before my next appt she will have everything. She is a very good dr. She is easy to talk to.

Immediately scheduled

She is a very good dr all the staff is very professional and sweet. It is nice to have this dr listen like she does and actually do something to help resolve this issue. I feel safe now and taken seriously. She knows what's best for me and don't ask me to do research. She does it the correct way. I'm happy to finely have a good team of drs to get me back to good health and do everything they can to make my goal happen by eventually removing pain med since Theres so many other safer options for pain.She is a very smart and sincere women as all staff is. It is amazing of how much was accomplished for me being my first time appt. On my first visit She did blood work and referrals went out. This is the first time I have ever had a dr move this fast to get the medical care I need. She gave me my pain med with the intent to keep lower it and added a narcan. I Never heard of narcan until now. I have always been Scared of this pain med so having that makes me feel safe and secure. And I Have decided to no longer take any medication that was given to me by my old dr and let her decide whats best for me. I'm now only taking what she prescribes me. I'm completely amazed by how much she cares for her patients. Thank you for taking me seriously. I know I'll get my health back on track and be off this pain med soon. Thank you so much for listening and willing to help me reach that important goal. And thank you to the staff for being extremely professional. Thank you for hearing me out without judgment. I know I will finely get a permanent resolution for my health.

Everything was fine except the follow-up communication regarding my referral.

I need to ask doctor for more specific explanations of what she thinks of medications. For example Why she thinks zolpidem is bad for me.

As far as recommending it's really not something I do.

My appointment was my first time to meet Dr. Vincent and it was a pleasure!
