About me

Dr. Kwame Adjepong is a neurologist who cares for patients with all kinds of neurological disease. He specializes in neuropalliative care, which focuses on meeting the complex needs of neurology patients, especially those with neurodegenerative illnesses, including through advance care planning, psychosocial support and support for the family.

Adjepong is interested in building a robust neuropalliative program that provides care and education across disciplines for patients, families, providers and students at UCSF.

Adjepong earned his medical degree at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. He completed a residency in neurology and a fellowship in hospice and palliative medicine at UCSF.

      Provider listened to all concerns, both results of recent surgery and side effects, and medical insurance problems, with the stress that causes. Both practical and emotional aspects raised, understood, with possible suggestions and plans discussed.
