Madhavi Dandu

Dr. Madhavi Dandu is an internal medicine specialist whose focus is patients in the hospital. She collaborates with subspecialists, nurses, case managers and other staff members to ensure the best care for individuals with illnesses that require hospitalization.

Dandu studies ethics and human rights in global health. Her work focuses on vulnerable populations in settings with resource constraints. She is committed to community health and equity.

Dandu earned her medical degree at the University of Michigan. After completing a residency in internal medicine at UCSF, she earned a master's degree in public health at the University of California, Berkeley.

Dandu is a member of the Society of Hospital Medicine and Consortium of Universities for Global Health.

Dandu enjoys spending her free time with her two children.
