I am getting to know Dr Meng but so far he seems very thorough with gathering data about me so that he can make the best recommendation for my care going forward.

Dr. Meng is always very thoughtful and helpful. Also his technique for inserting the cystoscope is excellent.

A cat scan was ordered but not the creatinine test that is required first. I forgot I needed it but they shouldn't have!

I would hangout and have a beer with Dr. Meng. If this doesn't provide a level of comfort I don't what would

In over 4 years of treatment at this unit I have not had a single bad experience and only once had to wait but the reason was well explained and understandable. Just great care!

    First experience with thisprovider

Response represents just the one nurse. Everyone else was really great.
    Mar 26, 2021
it's a nebulous situation so explanations were limited because options are limited and not entirely clear. not a reflection on the provider.

The Chief Resident sat in on our visit but never said anything. I would have preferred him to have interacted more even if just a brief comment. Felt strange for him to be watching silently.

I am so grateful to have Dr. Meng as my bladder cancer surgeon. I would love to have a primary care doctor as competent and reassuring and caring as Dr. Meng.

This was a preliminary visit for possible future surgery in several months so no medications or follow-up care. I had some trouble with telehealth but it was my fault (accidentally shutting my camera down in a very weird way).

    reassuring and realistic

Dr. Meng has been treating me since 2014 when I discovered a renal mass on my right kidney. He performed a radical nephrectomy two weeks after my CT scan and has been providing excellent follow up care ever since.

Dr Meng and especially the resident assisting him (whose name escapes me) were professional and showed real concern. at no time did it seem like they were in a hurry or like they needed to rush off. it was a welcome change from what we are used to.

I have an incontinence problem which he did not address. said he would refer me to someone else. He should have told me that months ago when I had the previsit zoom video.

Dr. Meng provided excellent care in 2003-4 and he again was excellent during this appointment. We appreciate his professionalism knowledge and warm demeaner.

Experience has been positive so far. My single biggest complaint is the limited amount of time one has to discuss health maters with physicians during appointments. I understand the scheduling is done under tight time constraints in order to service the greatest amount of patients but it would be great to be able to spend a few more moments to go over information with the doctors to gain a greater understanding of my disease treatment options and future outlook. Don't get me wrong Dr Meng is great and I feel lucky to be his patient.

I hoped to have the opportunity to speak with provider after cystoscopy since I couldn't write things down with my feet in stirrups!

He is always very kind easy to understand. I am very fortunate to have him as my doctor.
