Dr. Waul was also very conscious and up front about billing and made good use of our time together (office t use of time, while still not making me feel rushed at any point). Beyond the admin efficiency and friendliness, Dr. Waul demonstrated a high level of understanding and medical skill during the appointment. I was grateful to receive this level of care.

Dr. Waul is an excellent communicator, and listener. He always takes the time to explain what he is doing and why. He is so skilled at the procedures. Due to my age and health issues I have had many of these dermo surgical procedures. I never feel the needle going in, he always gets just the right amount of numbing medicine (not so with providers in the past! ) and he is very detail oriented. He does a complete exam but also considers what I have to say about things changing and looking different. We feel lucky to have him on our health team. My husband was also very pleased and impressed.

Best dermatologist that I've ever had.

I just recommended someone to Dr. Wahl last night! He has helped me so much with scars, skin problems and recently in this visit he took a biopsy of the mole on my nose which he was keeping an eye on over the past year. I was nervous and he carefully explained what was in the injection and why and it was completely painless. I feel taken care of and he is friendly and personable.
