Promoter of quality, safety and the patient experience

Dr. Michelle Mourad is an internal medicine specialist whose focus is patients in the hospital. She serves as vice chair of the UCSF Department of Medicine.

Mourad earned her medical degree from New York University. At UCSF, she completed a residency in internal medicine, followed by a fellowship in hospital medicine.

Mourad is a fellow of the Society of Hospital Medicine and American College of Physicians. In her free time, she enjoys being with her two young sons, who continually remind her of the importance of laughter, love and being jumped on.
