    About our process

She was friendly but was VERY rushed. She seemed like she was trying to get out of there as quickly as possible and not fully engaging with my questions. She left 10 min before my appointment was scheduled to end. I had to ask a nurse/assistant to bring her back because she hadn't answered all my questions yet.

I felt that the appointment was very rushed and my questions about disability and the discomfort I had were brushed off. The note written by provider didn't mention any of that but that I felt good.

De Farooqi is amazing she is the best and provides the utmost care because she indeed cares herself about me

Dr. Farooqi was pleasant and informative however we determined the appointment was unnecessary because the device does not need to be removed for another two years. Dr. Farooqi tried to rectify the situation by "cancelling" the appointment and refunding my co-pay. She spoke to the front desk and let me know they would be able to further assist me.

I feel I pushed to get the Nuba ring no one tells me how to improve the adenomyosis or the endometriosis.

This was my first pre natal appointment with my provider and she revealed the baby's gender to me. This is not fair and expected from a facility like UCSF. I got to ask the patient in this case me if I even want to know! The dr while doing to ultra sound said "it looks like a boy if I had to put my bet on but yeah it's too early to say". I am so disappointment with UCSF.

She made me feel stupid about choosing not to participate in the first trimester free-cell DNA test. I was told it was optional and when I had my previous ultrasound the technician informed me that the measurement of the neck in the ultrasound paired with the NIPT blood test I did basically gave the same information as the cell-free DNA test so I decided to opt out. She also made me feel stupid that I didn't know I didn't get an ultrasound at every monthly appointment and that my 20 week ultrasound was not scheduled. I AM THE PATIENT and this is my first pregnancy so I don't know how all of this works. She could tell that she upset me so the tried to change her tune and tell me how much they care and want me to have a happy pregnancy. By then it was too late she made me feel awful I was excited to see my baby at this appointment only to find out I wasn't having an ultrasound and was made to feel stupid for opting out of the cell-free DNA test and that now its too late because I'm in my second trimester.

Dr Farooqi was incredible. I see a lot of doctors (cancer patient); this visit stands out as the best in recent memory. She was efficient skilled kind warm asked questions listened spoke to my concerns treated my partner with respect also did not overwhelm me with a ton of information checked to make sure I understood. Perfect balance of care warmth chatty and human manner easy for a patient/layperson to understand combined with skill efficiency speed and just generally being a boss. Thank you so much Dr Farooqi I came in terrified and I left feeling cared for and reassured.
