Dr. Preethi Raghu is a radiologist with advanced training in imaging of the abdomen and pelvis. She interprets images produced by X-ray, ultrasound, CT and MRI, and has a special interest in obstetric ultrasound. Her goals include bringing more empathy to patient care and using imaging technologies to help clarify treatment plans. She sees patients at UCSF and at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center.

Raghu is passionate about educating and mentoring radiology trainees. She also strives to promote diversity in the field of radiology to better serve a diverse patient population.

Raghu earned her medical degree at Albany Medical College. She completed her residency in diagnostic radiology at Virginia Mason Medical Center, followed by a Stanford Medicine fellowship in body imaging.

Raghu serves as director of wellbeing, diversity and equity inclusion for radiology at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital (ZSFG) and chair for the continuing medical education virtual course on trauma imaging for UCSF and ZSFG.
