Dr Arikaki is superb as a medical clinician and as a provider. His patient care and manner is excellent. I have already recommended him to others, who now share my enthusiasm. Although he deserves promotion, please keep him at least some of the time in direct clinical care!

All care providers at UCSF are under some imposed time pressures in terms of how many patients they see in a given period of minutes or hours determined by the administration. Care providers don't have the authority to change those limits unless an unforeseen situation arises. While I understand the need for some accountability, these restrictions have negative outcomes for both the patient and caregiver. Less regulations, please. More awareness of each flexible situation. The administration needs some courses in kindness.

I would very much like Dr. Arakaki as my permanent dermatologist. He is very thorough, caring, and informative. He was very polite and made me feel comfortable. I'd be so happy and grateful to be seen by him again. Thank you.
