Breast imaging nurse navigators
We understand that breast imaging can be stressful, especially if you have concerning symptoms or a new diagnosis. Should you need further tests or care, one of our nurse navigators will guide you through each step, ensuring you feel informed and empowered throughout the process. All of our nurse navigators are registered nurses with special training in breast imaging and breast care.
Your nurse navigator can provide:
- Breast cancer risk-reduction counseling and screening recommendations
- Explanations about imaging or biopsy results and guidance on next steps
- Help and support as you prepare for and recover from biopsy procedures
- Information about breast cancer, how it progresses and treatment options
- Referrals to breast health specialists, genetic counselors and social workers
