Vascular Disorders

Vascular disorders involve diseases of the blood vessels that pump blood throughout the body. The three types of blood vessels include arteries, lymphatics and veins.

Experts at UCSF Medical Center diagnose and treat a complete range of vascular disorders, including aneurysms, arterial blockages, carotid artery disease, cavernous malformations, dural arteriovenous fistulae (DAVF), peripheral artery disease and venous disease. We also have expertise in less-common disorders such as complex thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysms that involve the upper abdomen, arterial graft infections, blockages of the arteries to the kidneys or intestines, and thoracic outlet syndrome.
