Neuro-oncology care for young adults
UCSF Health offers expert care for people ages 18 to 39 affected by brain tumors, including those who previously received treatment through our Pediatric Brain Tumor Program. We specialize in treating people who are diagnosed with brain tumors outside of the typical age ranges, such as adults with brain tumors that typically occur in children.
Our team is one of the few in the world dedicated to adolescent and young adult neuro-oncology, with expertise in the latest treatments and technologies for adult and pediatric brain tumors. Patients can also access promising new therapies by joining a clinical trial.
Support services
Patients and their families can receive resources for:
-
Caregiver support. We offer a range of education and support services for families and caregivers.
-
Neurocognitive services. We offer compassionate neurocognitive care and rehabilitation.
-
Survivor support. We provide survivorship resources to help you cope, thrive and live well during and after treatment.
