Infusion Center at Mission Bay
U.S. News Best Hospitals

The Infusion Center at UCSF's Mission Bay campus offers the following services for adult outpatients:

  • Infusion of chemotherapy and biotherapy
  • Infusion of IV antibiotics, antivirals and antifungals
  • Infusion of hydration, antiemetics and electrolytes
  • Non-chemo injections
  • Central line care
  • Transfusion of red blood cells and platelets

Appointments are required. Please avoid scheduling your treatment too close to other activities that may be delayed and affect your ability to arrive on time. This will shorten wait times for you and help you get through your appointment more quickly.

For your convenience we offer light snacks, warm blankets and wireless tablets for your use during treatment. We encourage patients to bring one visitor to sit with them during treatment. Additional visitors will be asked to wait outside the Infusion Center.

Because many patients are sensitive to strong scents, we ask that you not bring food with strong odors and refrain from wearing perfume or cologne.
