Radiation Oncology Clinic
UCSF's Radiation Oncology Clinic specializes in treatments that shrink or eliminate tumor cells without damaging surrounding healthy tissue. The goal is to use high-dose X-rays to remove the cancer, keep it from spreading, or improve patients' quality of life by relieving pain and other symptoms.
Ours is one of the nation's premier radiation treatment programs. We match you with a team of experts who have a deep knowledge about your particular disease and the best way to treat it. This expertise – paired with UCSF's advanced technology and safe care – enables us to develop a treatment plan with the best possible outcomes for you.
UCSF radiation oncologists also work closely with you and with other health care providers to develop a plan based on your personal situation and needs, always striving to make the experience as manageable as possible.
